Photoshop

1.    Files must be saved as a Macintosh TIFF (no compression) or as a JPEG.

2.    Do not color an image in Photoshop. Instead, put image into a layout application and color it there.

3.    Submit black and white bitmap images at 600 dpi and grayscale images at 300 dpi, sized at 100%.

*     Clip art or images pulled from the web are usually 72 dpi and will print with poor quality

Creating files: Create each item 1-up on its own document. Placed graphics and text must be sized at 100%.

Fonts:

Macintosh- We need all the screen and printer fonts used in your file, using Macintosh Adobe Type 1 or bitstream fonts. Or, using your illustration program, convert all text “to curves” or “create outlines” in your files. We cannot accept TrueType fonts. Never use the stylization palette to alter your fonts.

IBM-PC- We output from a Macintosh computer system. When Mac fonts are substituted for PC fonts, they may differ somewhat. To avoid this variance, we recommend that you use your illustration program and covert all text to “curves” or “create outlines.” Never use the stylization palette to alter your fonts.
